Current prayer requests can be quickly viewed from the main menu.  Members can post new prayer requests as well as print the prayer list.  Text messages, “Praying for you” can be sent to the member from this page.

If a member has enrolled to receive text messages, a message can be sent to that individual by going to their profile and clicking on the cell phone icon.  Group text messaging is also another time saving feature sure to benefit youth ministers. 

Podcasts of the sermons and special musical presentations can be listened to online. This feature allows members to immediately begin playing audio or video. There is no wait time for the file to download. Members also have the ability to fast forward or rewind to any portion of the media.

The duty section of the website lists the date, duty, and name of the responsible party.  Emails can be sent from this page to remind members of their upcoming responsibilities.  Simply click “send it” and the member receives a reminder email. This is a great way to confirm ushers, deacons, and childcare workers are aware of their approaching duties.

Survey   check

Feedback empowers church leaders in ministering to the needs of the membership. The survey feature enables leaders to collect member’s views on a specific topic.

This is a list of all member profiles within an interest group. This feature provides easy access to the group’s message board, activity report and leader report.

Media tags can be easily added to articles. This enables audio and video viewing from within an article.

Outreach

The ministry notes area provides a place where church leaders, teachers, and ministers can make notes regarding the ministry needs of a member. This information is only available to those that have been granted permission based on their security role.

A notification message can be sent to leaders regarding members in their interest group.  Examples of follow up include:  contact in one week, contact as needed, new prospect, ministry visit needed, transfer to different group, etc.

Members are classified into roles such as teacher, leader, staff, deacon, or minister.  Based on their classification, they are granted access to different areas of the website.  For example, leaders can view a leader report tab that shows them upcoming birthdays, past due follow ups, or prospects that need to be contacted.   

Because data is continuously being gathered, analytical reports can be produced at anytime. Detailed traffic reports such as the average number of hits per day, hour, and minute are readily available by clicking on the statistics icon.

Connect

Includes group text messaging, individual text messaging, message boards, blogs, calendars, interest groups, RSVP Acceptance.

The message board can be opened to the entire church membership, providing another source of information updates.

This message board is available to members of a specific interest group.  Only members within the interest group will be able to view this blog.

Users can generate articles related to their interest group by clicking on “articles”, then “add interest group articles”. This feature is useful for teachers, music directors, coaches, youth leaders, and other small group leaders who want to get information out to members. Social events, prayer requests, or schedule changes can quickly be relayed to numerous contacts by sending one article.

Teachers, leaders, and staff can quickly view a directory of interest group members. This provides immediate access to member’s profiles. Members within a group can view other members within the same group.

Members can create an email article requesting an RSVP. The member creates the response options for the interest group recipient to choose. Examples include: I will attend, I will attend and bring a dessert, I will not be able to attend this time, etc.

Members receive notification of additions on the website through RSS feeds.

Themes   check

The theme of the banner at the top of the site can be fixed or set to change based on the user’s age or marital status.  The administrator determines this option.  Examples of themes include: children, young adult, family, senior adult.

Simplify

Members or administrators have the ability to update the content of the website.  This can be done from any computer once they are logged in to the site. 

Event Registration simplifies the process of registration for members and staff. Online registration allows members to reserve their place for special events such as Vacation Bible School, Upward Basketball, Football, and Soccer, Christmas banquets, youth retreats.

Members can schedule private appointments which are only visible to them.

Once a member is logged in, they are able to view an online directory. Because the directory is synchronized with the church management software, information is always current which eliminates costly printing expenses.  
 

Members and designated leaders have the ability to update personal information on the website.  Automatic notification is sent to a selected staff member for updating the church software.

By clicking on “notifications” members can quickly view a list of the newest information posted on the website. Today’s birthdays, along with new messages and new images will be listed.

Profiles are self managed. Members have the ability to upload their own profile picture giving instant personalization to their profile. Additional photos can also be shared by uploading in My Photos. Members can create their own network of family and friends directly linking them for easy communication

There are sixteen different security levels in the website.  Each level can be granted access to different information.  Security levels are defined by the church administration.

The sync program runs in the background and mirrors the content between the website and the church software.  In other words, when the church software is updated, the website automatically updates as well. 

Personalized menus make information easy to access.  A member’s menu will vary  based on the user’s security role and interest groups.

When creating articles, words can be highlighted to hyperlink users to another page within the website. This is a helpful tool to redirect users to more information.

Share

Newsletters can be created and viewed on the website.  This is a money saving feature that reduces cost in postage and printing.  When the newsletter is completed, notification emails are sent to those members who have elected to receive their newsletter electronically.  Archiving allows viewing past newsletters in a centralized location.

When the newsletter is complete, it can be emailed to the membership.  This is a money saving feature, as many members prefer an electronic newsletter over a paper version.  

Photos from church activities can be displayed for all members to enjoy. Photos are stored in albums making it easy to view a particular event such as mission trips, homecomings, and retreats.

Photos can be shared with other members by uploading to my photos.  This gives members an opportunity to share events with others. 

Members and prospects personal information can be uploaded into their profile from the church database. Ministry notes, group membership, photos, messages between members, and more make up the user profile.

Church wide or organizational events can be added to the public calendar. Public events are visible to the entire membership.

Share an activity calendar with users in a specific interest group. Only members of this interest group will be able to view the activities on the calendar.

Each member has a message board where users can post messages to other members.   Messages can be tagged as private allowing only the person posting and the recipient to view the message.  If not tagged as private, anyone who visits the message board can view the post and make a comment.  Members receive an email notification and/or text message when a post has been made to their message board.
